Como bien es conocido por los residentes de Denison, desde hace varios meses un grupo de ciudadanos (donde está su servidora participa), de la misma ciudad han estado trabajando para desarrollar el proyecto de un Wellness Center (Centro de bienestar, por su traducción al español), que permita a los residentes tener un lugar cómodo y recreacional donde la población de todas las edades pueda asistir antes o después del trabajo, y nuestros niños y jóvenes tengan un lugar donde entretenerse sanamente después sus horas escolares.
Uno de los grandes proyectos del Wellnes Center incluye dos canchas de futbol de sala para que nuestros hombres y mujeres amantes de ese deporte tengan en el futuro un lugar digno para jugar.
Bueno, la hora de nuestra primera participación como miembros de esta gran comunidad ha llegado. Todas las familias latinas de Denison están cordialmente invitadas a la reunión de la comunidad que se realizará el miércoles, 21 del presente mes de 6:30 p.m a 8:30 p.m., en Denison High School Fine Arts Center.
El objetivo de la reunión comunitaria, es que tanto los miembros del Ayuntamiento de la Ciudad de Denison, como los arquitectos del proyecto escuchen las opiniones del pueblo, aparte que los participantes podrán ver los planes del proyecto y hacer preguntas a los arquitectos de HGM, que es la encargada de presentar los primeros planos del proyecto.
Amigos latinos, aunque lleguemos a casa casados de las largas horas de trabajo, este es el momento que tenemos para hacer llegar nuestra vos por medio de nuestra participación. Después no nos quejemos de que la ciudad no hace nada por nuestros niños, jóvenes o por nosotros mismos. Sin su participación el proyecto va hacer difícil de hacerlo una realidad. Esta es nuestra comunidad y tenemos la responsabilidad de sacarla adelante, una de esas responsabilidades es participando en la reunión del Ayuntamiento del 21 de septiembre en Denison High School Fine Arts Center, la reunión será bilingüe y habrá interpretes disponibles para realizar preguntas.
¡Hagamos que la asistencia a la reunión sea una responsabilidad de todos!

As is well known by the residents of Denison, for several months a group of citizens (where your servant is participating), from the same city have been working to develop the project of a Wellness Center (Wellness Center, by its translation into Spanish), which allows residents to have a comfortable and recreational place where the population of all ages can attend before or after work, and our children and young people have a place to entertain themselves healthy after school hours.
One of the great projects of the Wellnes Center includes two indoor soccer fields so that our men and women who love this sport will have a decent place to play in the future.
Well, the time for our first participation as members of this great community has come. All Latino families in Denison are cordially invited to the community meeting that will take place on Wednesday, the 21st of this month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Denison High School Fine Arts Center.
The objective of the community meeting is that both the members of the Denison City Council and the architects of the project listen to the opinions of the people, apart from the fact that the participants will be able to see the plans of the project and ask questions to the architects of HGM, who is in charge of presenting the first plans of the project.
Latino friends, even if we get home married from long hours of work, this is the moment we have to make our voices come through through our participation. Then let's not complain that the city does nothing for our children, young people or for ourselves. Without your participation the project will be difficult to make a reality. This is our community and we have a responsibility to move it forward, one of those responsibilities is by participating in the Town Hall meeting on September 21 at Denison High School Fine Arts Center, the meeting will be bilingual and interpreters will be available to ask questions.
