Latinos, let's not be left behind

The Wellnesss Center project is not a project aimed only at the gringos of Denison or Crawford County. The Wellness center project is for all the inhabitants of our community in general.
Unfortunately, until now Latinos have not wanted to get involved in the project, some say it's because they don't have time, and others say it's because they don't speak English or don't have money. The truth of our sad reality is that the majority of Latinos do not like to get involved in community activities and developments because we want or are used to having others do the work that we will also enjoy later on.
It is time that we stop making excuses and work for the common good of our community. We all know that we need a Wellness Center where our children, grandchildren, and we as adults can go to exercise, walk during the winter, and our young people go to have fun instead of being on the phone visiting social networks that do not bring them any benefit for their minds or human development.
With the generous financial donations that have been received so far from some Denison businesses, people in the community, and grant money from the state, the project is about 60% complete, the other 40 still needs to be collected, it is That is why the committee in charge of the project needs the help of Latinos to make the project a reality.
There are several ways to collaborate: You can donate a check for the amount you want in the name of the Wellness Center and send it or take it personally to the City Hall office or you can sign a monthly or annual donation promise pledging that in one year you will to donate a certain amount of money. Or have a party or raffle or sale of food and donate the proceeds to the construction of the Wellness Center.
There are no valid excuses, all of us Latinos can do our bit to build the center.
Below is the list of names of members of our community and businesses that have done their part to make the Wellness Center project a reality.
