CCMH reconoce el servicio voluntario

“Estamos en el planeta tierra por tres razones…”
El trabajo voluntario es una de las expresiones de amor al prójimo en cualquier sociedad. Es por eso que Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH, por sus siglas en inglés), celebró a casi un centenar del personal voluntario que día a día se presenta a los diferentes departamentos de la institución de salud para dar su tiempo y trabajo desinteresadamente, y sin distingo de clase, color de piel o idioma; al que lo necesita.
La presidenta de CCMH, Erin Muck agradeció el trabajo de las mujeres y hombres voluntarios de la institución de salud. “Nuestro hospital no sería lo que es hoy, sin su valioso trabajo y dedicación, porque el trabajo que ustedes realizan cada día, también marca la diferencia en la calidad de vida de nuestros pacientes.”
Por su parte, el coordinador del departamento del programa de voluntarios, Dustin Durby expresó que el éxito de su departamento se debe a gran parte “Al trabajo voluntario de las horas que cada hombre y mujer invierte en la institución para hacer sentir mejor a los pacientes.”
Uno de los rostros conocidos por muchos latinos de Denison, es el de Noel Johnson, que dedica su tiempo transportando a pacientes que necesitan ir al hospital, por una cita médica o un examen de laboratorio, y no cuentan con transporte o no tienen familiares que los lleven. “Estamos en el planeta tierra por tres razones: por amor, para servir y para compartir; y es importante que todos hagamos esto. Dando mi voluntariado estoy compartiendo y sirviendo a mi comunidad.”
Otros voluntarios expresaron, que “Servir es un acto de amor, y personalmente me ayuda no solo a sentirme mejor, sino que también me ayuda a sentirme útil en la comunidad.”
CCMH entregó certificados de reconocimiento divididos en tres grupos: Nivel oro, Silver y Bronze.

Nivel Silver: Cathy Garrett, Sharon Gaughan, Jan Jacobsen, Judy Thams, Connie Mulligan, Noel Johnson, Gary Hansen, LaWayne Gronau.

“We are on planet earth for three reasons…”
Volunteer work is one of the expressions of love for others in any society. That is why Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) celebrated nearly a hundred volunteers who present themselves every day to the different departments of the health institution to selflessly give their time and work, and regardless of class, skin color or language; to the one who needs it.
The president of CCMH, Erin Muck thanked the work of the women and men volunteers of the health institution. "Our hospital would not be what it is today without your valuable work and dedication, because the work you do every day also makes a difference in the quality of life of our patients."
For his part, the coordinator of the department of the volunteer program, Dustin Durby, expressed that the success of his department is due to a large part "To the voluntary work of the hours that each man and woman invests in the institution to make people feel better to patients.”
One of the faces known to many Latinos in Denison is that of Noel Johnson, who spends his time transporting patients who need to go to the hospital, for a medical appointment or a laboratory test, and do not have transportation or do not have family members who take them. “We are on planet earth for three reasons: for love, to serve and to share; and it is important that we all do this. By volunteering I am sharing and serving my community.”
Other volunteers expressed that “Serving is an act of love, and personally it helps me not only feel better, but it also helps me feel useful in the community.”
CCMH delivered recognition certificates divided into three groups: Gold, Silver and Bronze level.
