El 8 de octubre del presente mes, el presidente de la liga Denison Community Soccer League, Gustavo Ramos firmó un contrato por 5 meses con el director de la escuela intermitente de Dunlap el señor Curt Maasen, quien de absoluta buena voluntad y sin poner ninguna clase de obstáculos accedió de inmediato cuando está servidora de LA PRENSA Iowa inició las primeras conversaciones telefónicas de solicitación del gimnasio de la escuela Boyer Valley de Dow City.
No cabe la menor duda que el director Curt entiende la importancia que el soccer tiene para la comunidad latina adulta de Denison, ya que por decenas de años la liga de hombres y mujeres adultos, que la mayor parte del tiempo trabajan de 9 a 10 horas diarias seis días a la semana, no solamente necesitan, sino que se merecen un lugar digno para practicar el deporte durante los arduos meses de invierno.
El director Curt Maasen y Gustavo Ramos firman contrato de renta con especificas estipulaciones. El contrato fue firmado en inglés y español en presencia de esta su servidora de LA PRENSA Iowa, Lorena López.
El contrato fue redactado por la mesa ejecutiva del centro escolar, entre las estipulaciones del contrato reza:
Los jugadores y el publico visitante esta estrictamente limitado al área de la entrada de la escuela, gimnasio y baños públicos.
La liga de futbol de adultos de Denison es responsable por cualquier daño ocasionado dentro y fuera de las instalaciones de la escuela, lo que incluye paredes o banquetas rayadas, baños rayados, ventanas quebradas, basura no recogida después de cada juego. En el caso de que se encuentre basura tirada dentro y fuera de las instalaciones, la administración de la escuela contratará a una compañía para que limpie el local y los costos de limpieza serán transferidos bajo la responsabilidad de la liga de Denison.
Por su parte, Gustavo agradeció al director Curt por depositar su confianza en los equipos de la liga, comprometiéndose a seguir al pie de la letra las estipulaciones del contrato.
Por su parte el director Curt dijo que tanto la mesa directiva de la escuela como él, dan la bienvenida a los equipos y sus fanes. “Esto [jugar en Dow City] también va ayudar a nuestros negocios.”
Cabe mencionar que la liga de futbol tiene 14 equipos, cada equipo consta de 8 a 10 jugadores. Los juegos se realizan de 6:00 de la tarde en adelante, y los domingos juegan desde la 10:00 de la mañana.

The contract was drawn up by the executive board of the school, among the stipulations of the contract it reads:
Players and the visiting public are strictly limited to the area of the school entrance, gym, and public restrooms.
The Denison Adult Soccer League is responsible for any damage done on or off the school grounds, including scratched walls or sidewalks, scratched restrooms, broken windows, trash not picked up after each game. In the event litter is found on and off campus, the school administration will contract with a company to clean the premises and the cleanup costs will be transferred to the responsibility of the Denison league.
For his part, Gustavo thanked director Curt for placing his trust in the league teams, committing himself to follow the stipulations of the contract to the letter.
