Storm Lake ofrecerá sesiones de computación gratis

La Biblioteca Pública de Storm Lake continúa su programa Community Connect en mayo con dos sesiones informativas para el público.
“Por qué usar una computadora” se ofrecerá el 7 de mayo a la 1:30 p. m. Esta será una oportunidad para que los principiantes aprendan lo que la tecnología puede hacer por ellos y cómo empezar a utilizar el teclado y el ratón.
Otra sesión será, “Conceptos básicos de videoconferencia y telesalud” se ofrecerá el 10 de mayo a las 1:30pm. Esta sesión compartirá información sobre cómo acceder y utilizar estos importantes servicios.
Las sesiones se llevarán a cabo en la biblioteca y están abiertas a todas las personas interesadas, de forma gratuita.
El programa Community Connect fue creado gracias al subsidio financiero que la biblioteca recibió por parte de Capital One y Asociación Estadounidense de Bibliotecas para capacitar a la comunidad en la enseñanza digital.

The Storm Lake Public Library continues its Community Connect program in May with two information sessions for the public.
“Why Use a Computer” will be offered on May 7 at 1:30 p.m. m. This will be an opportunity for beginners to learn what technology can do for them and how to get started with keyboard and mouse.
Another session will be, “Videoconferencing and Telehealth Basics” will be offered on May 10 at 1:30pm. This session will share information on how to access and use these important services.
The sessions will take place in the library and are open to all interested people, free of charge.
The Community Connect program was created thanks to the financial grant that the library received from Capital One and the American Library Association to train the community in digital learning.
