July 1, 4 p.m. m.: The Denison Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the drive-thru lane of the Wells Fargo bank. Richard Knowles, 76, of Denison, was driving a white 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. According to the report, he admitted to accidentally backing into a black 2023 Dodge Durango driven by Kristi Lin Stephens, 47, of Arion. Nobody was hurt. Knowles' vehicle was not damaged. Stephens' vehicle received approximately $200 in damage to the center front.
July 2, 6:16 p.m. m.: The Crawford County Sheriff's Office investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred on 350th Street. Chad Tyrone Kiepe, 54, of Ute, was driving a 2018 brown Freightliner south on 350th Street and when he was turning left was rear-ended by a dark green 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe pickup truck driven by Steve Gary Hall, 36, of Denison. Hall said he was looking at the fallen cornfield when his vehicle collided with the truck. Nobody was hurt. The truck received $2,500 worth of damage. The truck received approximately $5,500 in damage.
July 3, 3:41 p.m.: The Denison Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred at Monogram Quality Foods. A witness to the crash told the investigating officer that a silver 2004 Toyota 4Runner operated by Israel Sergaud, 49, of Sioux City, backed up too quickly and collided with a red 2018 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Atilus Robincy, 25, of Denison. Nobody was hurt. Robincy's vehicle received $500 in front center damage and Sergaud's vehicle received $1,000 in rear center damage.
July 3, 10:14 p.m.: The Denison Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Heritage Heights. Jackie Ann Boggs, 67, of Charter Oak, was driving a white 2007 Buick Lucerne and backed into a blue 2006 Chevrolet HHR LT operated by Kathleen Ann Tech, 70, of Denison. Nobody was hurt. Boggs' vehicle received $500 worth of damage to the rear passenger side corner. The Tech vehicle received $500 in damage to the rear driver's side.
July 5, 1:16 a.m.: Eduardo Antonio Ramirez Anaya, 30, of Denison, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, first offense.
July 5, 4:43 p.m.: Kevin Lee Mohr, 61, of Denison, was arrested on nine counts of fifth-degree theft for stealing household items and food items from Walmart, valued at $422.81.
July 7, 2:28 a.m.: Juan Ariel Garcia, 33, of Denison, was arrested for operating under the influence, first offense.
