Con la llegada del verano, también llegan las noches comunitarias a Denison, así que haga planes con su familia para que participe en las ‘Hot Summer Nights’ (Noches de caliente verano, por su traducción al español), que se realizará este 25 de mayo de 5pm a 9pm en el downtown de Denison.
La primera actividad de este jueves será la primera de las cuatro Hot Summer Nights que se realizaran durante el verano, expresó a LA PRENSA Iowa la organizadora del evento y propietaria del negocio The Cottage, Taylor Borkowski. “Los cuatro eventos que realizaremos durante el verano son patrocinados en parte por la planta de carne de Smithfield, y tienen como objetivo la recaudación de fondos para el proyecto de Wellness Center que tanto necesitamos en nuestra comunidad.”
La entrada al evento es totalmente gratis. “Los fondos que se recauden en el vendrán de un porcentaje de la venta de los camiones de comida, la venta de boletos para juegos de niños y la venta de cervezas, ya que cada uno de los participantes donaran un porcentaje de lo que vendan durante cada actividad,” dijo Taylor.
Hot Summer Nights será amenizada con música en vivo.
Las actividades restantes se realizarán el viernes 9 de junio; jueves, 13 de julio; y viernes 4 de agosto.
“Estas actividades de verano nos darán a todos la oportunidad de participar en la recaudación de fondos para el Wellnes Center que tanto necesitamos en Denison,” dijo Taylor.
Cabe mencionar, que la participación de las familias latinas es esencial en las actividades a desarrollar, ya que, con solo el hecho de consumir, y participar en la compra de boletos para los niños todos estarán aportando un granito de arena para el deseado y necesitado proyecto de Wellness Center.

Admission to the event is completely free. "The funds raised in it will come from a percentage of the sale of food trucks, the sale of tickets for children's games, and the sale of beers, since each of the participants will donate a percentage of what they sell during every activity,” Taylor said.
Hot Summer Nights will be enlivened with live music.
The remaining activities will take place on Friday, June 9; Thursday, July 13; and Friday, August 4.
“These summer activities will give all of us the opportunity to participate in raising funds for the much-needed Wellness Center in Denison,” Taylor said.
It is worth mentioning that the participation of Latino families is essential in the activities to be developed, since, with only the fact of consuming, and participating in the purchase of tickets for the children, everyone will be contributing a grain of sand for the desired and needed Wellness Center project.
