Hospitales de la región donan suministros médicos a Ucrania

El hospital Regional St. Anthony junto a otros hospitales de la región, donaron recientemente suministros médicos a Ucrania, ya que actualmente el país tiene una enorme escasez de toda clase de suministros, según lo informó por medio de un comunicado de prensa la especialista en comunicaciones de dicho hospital, Brandi Strautman.
Según un comunicado de prensa enviado a este medio, la institución informó que entre los artículos donados se encuentran específicamente soluciones intravenosas, así como soluciones de irrigaciones. De igual manera donaron agujas, jeringas, vendajes, férulas, aparatos ortopédicos, instrumentos para saturaciones, bandejas de urología y espinales, instrumentos para la presión arterial, productos farmacéuticos e instrumentos menores que ya no se utilizan en el hospital.
Los empleados de St. Anthony llevaron los suministros al Hospital del condado de Audubon los que luego fueron transportados a Red Oak, Iowa. En total el hospital St. Anthony en conjunto con otros siete hospitales del oeste de Iowa pudieron enviar 12 pallets de suministros desde Red Oak a Ucrania a través de Nova Ucrania que es una organización sin fines de lucro.
El presidente y director ejecutivo de St. Anthony hospital Ed Smith, dijo “St. Anthony Regional Hospital donó dos vehículos llenos de suministros médicos que fueron enviados a Ucrania. Nuestros empleados se movilizaron rápidamente para recoger los materiales ya que los ciudadanos ucranianos necesitan desesperadamente estos suministros. Nosotros nos sentimos honrados de ayudar a apoyarlos.”
Entre los hospitales que enviaron en las donaciones de suministros médicos, aparte de St. Anthony, se encuentran: Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Cass Health, Myrtue Medical Center, Shenandoah Medical Center, y Spencer.

The St. Anthony Regional Hospital, along with other hospitals in the region, recently donated medical supplies to Ukraine, as the country currently has a huge shortage of all kinds of supplies, the communications specialist reported in a press release. of said hospital, Brandi Strautman.
According to a press release sent to this medium, the institution reported that among the donated items are specifically intravenous solutions, as well as irrigation solutions. They also donated needles, syringes, bandages, splints, orthopedic devices, saturation instruments, urology and spinal trays, blood pressure instruments, pharmaceutical products and minor instruments that are no longer used in the hospital.
St. Anthony employees brought the supplies to Audubon County Hospital which were then transported to Red Oak, Iowa. In total, St. Anthony Hospital in conjunction with seven other western Iowa hospitals were able to ship 12 pallets of supplies from Red Oak to Ukraine through Nova Ukraine which is a non-profit organization.
St. Anthony Hospital President and CEO Ed Smith said “St. Anthony Regional Hospital donated two vehicles full of medical supplies that were shipped to Ukraine. Our employees quickly mobilized to collect the materials as Ukrainian citizens desperately need these supplies. We are honored to help support them.”
