El jovencito James García, graduado de Denison High School en el año 2022 y actualmente es un estudiante y miembro del Iowa State University Wind Ensemble, tocó el clarinete con Lydia Lee. Ellos fueron los solistas de la canción “Concert Piece For Two Clarinets And Wind Band,” interpretada el lunes por la noche en el Centro de Bellas Artes de Denison High School. Iowa State University Wind Ensemble es la principal banda de conciertos de la universidad y está dirigida por el Dr. Michael Golemo. El conjunto de viento fue un invitado especial en el concierto que contó con los grupos musicales de los grados 9, 10, 11 y 12 de la escuela de secundaria.
Ruben Newell dirigió la banda musical de los grados 11 y 12 de Denison High School durante la interpretación de “On A Hymsong Of Philip Bliss.”
Con un instrumento musical, Angelina Gutiérrez simuló el sonido de una máquina en marcha durante la canción “Terracotta Warriors,” que fue escrita por Scott Watson para ser un viaje musical a través del impresionante ejército que custodia la tumba del primer emperador de China, Qin Shi Huang. Junior James Garcia, a 2022 graduate of Denison High School and currently a student and member of the Iowa State University Wind Ensemble, played clarinet with Lydia Lee. They were the soloists of the song “Concert Piece For Two Clarinets And Wind Band,” performed Monday night at the Denison High School Fine Arts Center. Iowa State University Wind Ensemble is the university's premier concert band and is directed by Dr. Michael Golemo. The wind ensemble was a special guest at the concert that featured the high school's 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade musical groups.
Ruben Newell led the Denison High School 11th and 12th grade marching band during a performance of “On A Hymsong Of Philip Bliss.”
Using a musical instrument, Angelina Gutiérrez simulated the sound of a machine running during the song “Terracotta Warriors,” which was written by Scott Watson to be a musical journey through the impressive army guarding the tomb of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. The musical piece was performed by the Denison High School 9th and 10th grade musical group, and was directed by Ryan Meyer.
