CCMH tiene nuevo director de enfermería y de servicios de emergencia

(Denison, IA) – La Junta de Fideicomisarios de Crawfrord County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) la contratación de Jason Franklin, RN como director de Enfermería, por medio de un comunicado enviado a este medio.

Kelby Eck, RN ha sido designado como director de Servicios de Emergencia en CCMH. Eck trabajó anteriormente como supervisor de la casa en CCMH y como enfermero principal en medicina de emergencia en el Hospital Metodista Jennie Edmundson en Council Bluffs, IA.

“As CCMH's former Director of Emergency Services, Jason has a deep understanding of the challenges facing small hospitals in small rural areas,” said Erin Muck, CCMH President and CEO. “Jason brings us previous experience gained in hospitals large and small in Chicago, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Omaha and Shenandoah. This experience will help in our efforts to improve the quality of our care and the customer experience.”

Prior to working at CCMH, Franklin also owned a small business, which he sold to enter the medical field.

“When I first came to CCMH, I was a traveler and I wouldn't spend more than 13 weeks in any one place,” Franklin said. “Once I had the opportunity to come to CCMH full time, I jumped at the chance. Being the director of Emergency Services has given me a real insight into the opportunities for success as a director of nursing.”

Franklin received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Barnes Jewish College, Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. He is currently enrolled at the Bradley School of Nursing in Peoria, IL seeking to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).

Kelby Eck, RN has been appointed as Director of Emergency Services at CCMH. Eck previously worked as a House Supervisor at CCMH and as a Senior Nurse in Emergency Medicine at Jennie Edmundson Methodist Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.

Muck said, “We are excited that Kelby is bringing his extensive experience in emergencies to CCMH. He is a consummate professional and will bring his expertise to continue to improve the quality of the emergency department for patients and families alike.”

Eck received his RN from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. He is currently enrolled at Methodist College to receive his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
