El joven Juan Segoviano (18) del último año de secundaria de la High School de Denison, participó por primera vez en los caucus que se realizaron del 15 del presente mes en Denison.
Juan dijo a este medio que estaba interesado en ver el desarrollo del proceso político del que ha oído hablar. “Esta es mi primera vez en participar, y realmente me siento fuera de mi zona de confort; pero para mí es necesario participar, porque este año voy a poder votar por primera vez, y quiero saber de todo, antes de decidir a quien le voy a dar mi voto” expresó Juan.
Generalmente la presencia de los latinos en los caucus es mínima, pero es la nueva generación como la de Juan, la que va a cambiar la participación de los latinos en el tan importante proceso político. “Pienso que muchos jóvenes como yo cada día nos estamos interesando más por aprender del proceso electoral.” Expresó Juan.

Young Juan Segoviano (18), a senior at Denison High School, participated for the first time in the caucuses that took place on the 15th of this month in Denison.
Juan told this media that he was interested in seeing the development of the political process that he has heard about. “This is my first time participating, and I really feel out of my comfort zone; But for me it is necessary to participate, because this year I will be able to vote for the first time, and I want to know everything, before deciding who I am going to give my vote to,” said Juan.
Generally the presence of Latinos in caucuses is minimal, but it is the new generation like Juan's that will change the participation of Latinos in the very important political process. “I think that many young people like me are becoming more interested in learning about the electoral process every day.” Juan expressed.
